MARILYN MCMASTER has been involved in the TB horse industry for 30 years. She was first exposed to horses and horse racing by her late husband, Rolland, whom she met in Chicago 38 years ago. Marilyn was President of MTOBA for several years and helped initiate legislative changes ensuring Owners’ Awards and Sire Owners’ Awards for owners of MI bred horses. She also was a board member and team player on the MI HBPA protecting breeders’ interests. With the Michigan equine economics of the industry looking up, she feels there is a great future and opportunity for present breeders’ and owners and new participants to involve themselves in this great sport. She had removed herself from the politics of the industry to care for her late husband’s declining health but now is ready to make another difference in the Michigan industry with her involvement. MARILYN owns a 100 acre farm in HARTLAND , MICHIGAN owning nearly 35 broodmares. And standing 5 stallions. |

DAN BOIK started in the equine industry 20 + years ago as the local hay help in ROMULUS, MICHIGAN. Finding ways to get out of the city to enjoy the world that has become his life, and passion. |
